Responsible for marketing, engineering of Mechanical
and Electrical systems, administration, and finance of all projects on a
daily basis. Experience of over thirty-five (35) years in the consulting,
contracting and HVAC equipment sales provides knowledge, experience and
leadership in the design of mechanical and electrical systems for new and
renovated systems for industrial, office, warehouse, theaters, commercial,
hospital, hotels, restaurants, nursing facilities, multifamily residential
applications.
As
principal of Thompson Engineering Consultants since 1985 and branch manager
of the West Palm Beach office of C. E. Bailey & Associates for three
years Mr. Thompson has developed management principals and ethics that help
provide the environment, which allows design ingenuity and individual initiative.
As either engineer of
record or as designer Mr. Thompson has been responsible for numerous and
successful projects. These projects include: Hotels, Multifamily Apartment
Buildings, Adult Congregate Life Care, Critical Care Nursing Facilities,
Spas, Schools for Broward and Palm Beach County, Office Buildings, Water
and Waste Water Treatment Facilities, Sports Lighting for City and County
Parks, Fire Stations, Municipal Facilities, Warehouse and Industrial,
Thermal Energy Storage Systems, Large Single Family Homes, Shopping
Centers, Restaurants, Marinas, Parking Garages and Retail Stores.

Mr. Youngross
has nearly twenty (20) years experience in electrical engineering field,
seven years as owner or principal of his own firm. As a Principal of
Thompson & Youngross Engineering Consultants, he is responsible for
marketing, engineering production and to oversee the Electrical design
documents and coordinate all work in the office. He continues to perform site
investigations, meet with clients and design electrical systems.
As principal of
Youngross, Cardenal & Associates from September 1999 through March
of 2004 and Youngross &
Associates from April, 1998 through September of 1999, Mr. Youngross was
responsible for all electrical design including, site investigation of
existing as-built conditions, construction cost estimation, power
distribution design, stand-by power generation, power studies, submittal
approvals, lighting calculations and layout design, design of automatic
fire alarm and smoke detection systems, and field inspections.
Michael A. Bassford, P.E. – SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Mr.
Bassford is responsible for designing HVAC mechanical systems for
commercial and residential buildings such as schools, multi-use buildings,
special-care facilities, medical/dentist offices, restaurants, hotels and
office/retail spaces. Mr. Bassford has participated in project
coordination, working with Architects and Contractors, including site
investigation, design conceptualization, in-house project management with
MEP design engineers, to meet strict deadlines, and provide support through
construction phase. Extensive tenant improvement design experience,
requiring coordination of new engineering system requirements with existing
site conditions.
Dennis Mikulski – SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGNER

Mr. Mikulski is
responsible for the design and layout of power and lighting systems, as well
as communication and fire alarm systems required for any type of facility
needing new or renovations to the appropriate systems. His experience
includes a wide range of industrial, commercial, residential, municipal and
military projects. In the pursuit of his duties, Mr. Mikulski performs site
investigations, attends meetings with clients, is proficient in ACAD design
and drafting, and is versed in the use of many computer aided lighting
software packages, including AGI and Visual. His Project Management duties
include coordination with clients, architects, and other design team
members in house. With over thirty-three (33) years of experience in
consulting engineering, Mr. Mikulski has constantly worked to further his
knowledge with continuing education provided by the National Fire
Protection Association, and by many other organizations and manufacturers
throughout his career. Mr. Mikulski joined Youngross and Associates five
(5) years ago, after three (3) successful years as Principal of Electrical
Design Solutions, Inc.
Mr. Mikulski has been
responsible for the design and specification of equipment for numerous
projects during his career. These projects include: Tire and rubber
facilities, breweries, chemical plants, water treatment plants, hotels, multi-family
dwelling units, hospital renovations, medical and MRI facilities, from
complete shopping centers to single tenant renovations, schools,
restaurants, and a wide range of municipal and military projects.

Mr. Amaral is responsible for designing
and producing Plumbing and HVAC mechanical systems for commercial and
residential buildings such as schools, multi-use buildings, special-care
facilities, medical/dentist offices, restaurants, hotels and office/retail
spaces. Other responsibilities include; Coordination of projects with
clients, site investigation of existing as-built conditions, Auto-CAD
layout design, creation of contract spec documents, submittal approvals,
coordination of plumbing/mechanical/electrical systems within office prior
to final construction documents.

Xref drawings, archiving finished projects and maintaining archives.

Mr. Silva is responsible for designing and producing CAD drawings

model space or paper space, maintaining Xref drawings, archiving finished
projects and maintaining archives.
Matt Thompson - BUSINESS MANAGER & CONTRACT

Responsible for cost control, personnel relations,
project estimating, project scheduling, invoicing, accounts payable and
receivable. Mr. Thompson has in the
past been responsible for design layout of: lighting, power, communication,
fire alarm systems for residential and commercial structures, computer
aided photometric calculations using AGI (TM), programs selection of power
and lighting equipment, coordination with other design team members. Other
duties are shop drawing review, liaison with clients and site project
review. Mr. Thompson is the office/business manager and computer system and
network manager responsible for updating the several systems within the
office.
